Stakeholder Liaison Officer Vacancy
Thank you for your interest in this vacancy.
The Council is seeking a skilled, experienced and energetic person to help drive our
commitment to our community forward.
Like many Town Councils, we used to have a Grants person and a Liaison Officer
(sometimes combined) but this does not meet our current requirements or our
community expectations.
We need to do more to attract funding and support our commercial, residential and
visitor community to grow and thrive. Of particular interest is the development of
provision for our younger people.
Since taking up post in late December 2024, I have promoted an ethos of working in
partnership with our volunteer colleagues to promote and improve our community. A
great example is our KINDChard project where the Council is working with 19 other
groups (and counting) to the benefit of our community.
If you believe you can help Chard Town Council move forward in these matters, then
