Do you work with local people in your community and would you like to be able to offer them more support around staying warm and keeping their bills down this winter?

The Centre for Sustainable Energy are holding two ‘Energy Essentials’ training sessions in Chard in the New Year.   The aims of this training is to help us to

  • understand when to have energy related conversations with individuals
  • understand basics of energy advice, including energy efficient behaviours, energy bills/dealing with suppliers, and energy efficiency of the home
  • know how to access further support from Safe and Warm Somerset, including further training available through the Energy Support Network

There will be two training sessions hosted by the Chard Guildhall on the 9th January at 2.30pm and again at 7pm, lasting around 2 hours.

Each session is limited to 60 places and bookings are being coordinated through the Guildhall.
