🎉Cooking with Kids – Chard 🎉
Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’re delighted to be launching our Cooking with Kids programme in Chard, starting Tuesday 30th September at Chard Baptist Church.
This initiative is designed to support families with children in Key Stage 2 who are living in Chard and may benefit from additional support. Over six weekly sessions (with a break for half term), families will come together to cook, share meals, and build confidence around food and nutrition. Each family will also receive a free recipe bag to take home, helping them recreate meals together beyond the sessions.
🔹 Location: Chard Baptist Church, Holyrood Street
🔹 Start Date: Tuesday 30th September, 3:45pm – 5:15pm
🔹 Duration: 6 weeks
🔹 Eligibility: Families with children in KS2 living in Chard
🔹 Cost: Free of charge, thanks to National Lottery funding
🔹 Spaces available: 6 families
We’re inviting schools, family support workers, health professionals, and community organisations to refer families who would benefit from this opportunity.
