This Friday, gathering at 11:45am, there will be a short Service of Remembrance with Wreath Laying around the War Memorial at St Mary’s Church, Chard, to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day. All are welcome to attend this event to Remember those who fought, and gave their lives, to finally bring about the end to the Second World War.
