Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Chard Road, West Crewkerne and Crewkerne for approximately 1311 metres, which will commence on 23rd September 2026 and is expected to last until 27th September 2026 (between 19:00 to 05.00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out phased prep works, surface dressing, application of Kiely Lock and associated works such as stud removal/renewal and lining works on behalf of Somerset Highways, their works reference is LG018SD001308-SD-02.

The road will be reopened when no works are taking place. Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and if so, a notification will be sent for these.
