Sewer investigation in Glynswood and Furnham Road, Chard
Wessex Water will be carrying out essential investigations on the sewer network in Glynswood and Furnham Road in Chard next month.
Our investigations will involve excavating trial holes on these roads at several locations, closing the roads to all through traffic between 9.30am and 3.30pm each weekday from Monday 17 April to Friday 5 May 2023.
How will the work affect the area?
Access will be maintained for residents in these areas, although it may be delayed at times and our team will work with residents and businesses with regard to any specific access requirements. Access will continue to be provided for emergency vehicles.
Water supply and sewerage services can continue to be used as normal.
The attached map outlines the location of the closures and the diversion routes that will be in place.
