Project Food are excited to announce the launch of their second Energy Efficient Cooking Course in Chard, developed in collaboration with Abri Homes. This free course is designed to support low-income households and Abri tenants with practical, energy-saving cooking skills that help reduce food and fuel costs.
Participants will:
- Learn how to cook affordable, nutritious meals while saving energy
- Receive simple tips on using kitchen appliances more efficiently
- Discover how to plan meals and reduce food waste
- Be offered a free air fryer or slow cooker to put their new skills into practice
This is a fantastic opportunity for households facing financial hardship to gain confidence in the kitchen, improve their well-being, and reduce their monthly expenses.
