From 17 April the contractor Heidelberg will be undertaking resurfacing of the A358 and Crowshute Link. The works will take place under a road closure and this will be in place from 18.30-23.30 weekdays only. The highway will be clear at all other times and at the weekends.

Access to the supermarket and other businesses will be maintained.

Please be aware that there will be a short section missed either side of the pedestrian crossing on Old Town. Their Traffic Signal Refurbishment programme will be picking up this later in the year.

The section on Crowshute link that was missed previously was due to a water leak. Now that this has been resolved they hope to be able to return to cover this section from 27 April. They will not be closing the A358 and Crowshute Link at the same time.

All works should be completed by 5 May.
